The Hawaii Professional Firefighters Foundation (HPFF) was created to assist our Hawaii firefighters who dedicate their lives to ensuring that safety of life and property always come first. Through HPFF, our endeavor is to strengthen the support network among HFFA members of all counties and jurisdictions within the State; to promote fire prevention and education; and to encourage the social welfare in our communities, especially our youth and most vulnerable.
HPFF’s interim Board of Directors are:
- President: Max Hannemann, Director, Labor Relations, Hawaiian Electric Company
- Vice President: Terry Cano, Secretary-Treasurer, HFFA
- Secretary-Treasurer: Bobby Lee, President, HFFA
- Director: Maryellen Markley, Ph.D., CEO, First Impressions, Inc.
The organization is seeking additional members for its Board of Directors to create a dynamic, passionate and diverse group dedicated to fulfilling HPFF’s mission and objectives. If you are interested in serving, please contact Daisy Canite or Jolyn Garidan Prieto at (808) 949-1566.
